Fraud lesbian arrested for cybercrime law violation


PAGADIAN CITY: Police here filed charges against a lesbian suspect for cybercrime, a violation of RA 10175.


Police Chief Supt. Glenn Dulawan said a complaint was filed in their police station by the 20-year old lady victim from Lapu-lapu City, against a lesbian from this city.

Dulawan in an initial investigation, disclosed that the suspect used another picture and introduced herself in Facebook as Mark Jason D. Castillo, accordingly a Fil-am lawyer from Pagadian.

The victim said she had a relationship with the suspect in FB account for more than two months and they decided to meet finally, with the suspect promising to marry the victim.

The victim later found out after she came here last Jan. 2 that there was no Jason but instead was the suspect who again introduced herself as Jason’s yaya.

Dulawan added that the victim, sensing she was duped, sought help with a motorcycle driver to seek her assistance with the police that led the arrest of the suspect, who was later identified as Mary Jane B. Castillo.

The suspect is now detained temporary at the police station lock-up cell.
