DSWD-Sibugay turns 64


IPIL, Zambo Sibugay: The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) turned 64 last Jan. 9, carrying its  anniversary theme: “Tuloy ang Pagbabago at Pag-unlad.”


A motorcade around the municipality was held at 8:00 in the morning, followed by a thanksgiving mass.

Social Welfare and Development Team (SWADT) leader Jasmin A. Albelda said DSWD made sports and parlor games that day and a “boodle fight” lunch.

A Search for Mr. & Ms. SWADT Ipil and a videoke singing competition was held, showcasing the talents of DSWD personnel including the Pantawid staff, KC-NCDDP, SWADT and Livelihood Sustainable Program (LSP) employees.

 Added, DSWD is dedicated to continue the delivery of its various services and programs to help the poor, vulnerable and disadvantaged sectors of the society improve their quality of life.

She likewise said DSWD employees are dedicated and committed to work with integrity in line with the department’s vision, mission and goals.
