DILG grants P73-M PAMANA projects in Sibugay


IPIL, Zambo Sibugay: Six municipalities of this province are recipients of roads and water system projects under the Payapa at MAsaganang PamayaNAn (PAMANA) DILG Fund Project 2014.


The DILG said the project costs P73.7 million and 80 percent of the amount has been already downloaded to the provincial government for the recipients.

The said municipalities are identified as Talusan, Imelda, Kabasalan, Naga, Ipil and Roseller T. Lim.

Talusan’s share will be used for concreting of some of its barangay roads in Bualan to Bolingan, and Barangay Kasigpitan proper including the rehabilitation of water supply system level 2; and construction of four Madrasah school buildings.

For Imelda, the amount will be used for the construction of water system level 2 in Upper Baluran.

Kabasalan town will use the amount for gravelling of the FMR connecting Banker to Tampilisan.

Naga town is going to use the money for road concreting of the national highway junction to Sitio Singkilon, and Baga to Bangkaw-Bangkaw; and rehabilitation of water system level 2.

The P15 million budget for Ipil town will be used for the construction and rehabilitation of roads connecting Veterans Village, Tiayon and Caparan.

Roseller T. Lim town will use the P5 million for the construction of water supply system level 2 in Mabini and Malubal.

The provincial government will oversee the completion of these projects, after which, the 20 percent remaining of the PAMANA funds shall be released.
