NFA tells grains dealers to renew licenses


DIPOLOG CITY: The provincial office of the National Food Authority (NFA) is telling again grains businessmen to renew their licenses on time.


NFA Provincial Manager Julakmad J. Lamawa said those who failed to renew their licenses on time would pay a surcharge fee equivalent to 25 percent of the total license cost and another 25 percent for every month thereafter.

The NFA provincial office has set January for renewal of licenses for Dipolog City and Polanco grain dealers; February for Dapitan City, Rizal, Sibutad and La Libertad; March for Sergio Osmeña, Piñan, Mutia, Katipunan and Roxas;

The month of April for Jose Dalman, Manukan, Siayan and Sindangan; May for Godod, Kalawit, Salug and Tampilisan; and June for Baliguian, Gutalac, Labason, Leon Postigo, Liloy, Sibuco,Siocon and Sirawai.

The NFA is also set to conduct its mobile licensing which will run from July to December, this year to accommodate those who failed to renew their licenses during the scheduled months.

New grains businessmen are to get their NFA licenses at the provincial office and see Minviluz R. Pomelda, the licensing officer.
