Dipolog to stage PBA play on Valentines Day


DIPOLOG CITY: The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) is scheduling one of its provincial games here on Feb. 14 at the Dipolog City Sports Complex.


Mayor Evelyn T. Uy and PBA, represented by Atty. Angelico T. Salud recently signed a MOA to pursue the game between Purefoods Hotspots and Rain or Shine Elasto Painters.

The said match was scheduled last December last year but was postponed due to Typhoon Ruby.

Lawyer Chandler O. Ruiz, chairman of the City Youth Sports Development Council, said those who had already bought their tickets last year can use the tickets for this PBA provincial game.

This is the second time that a PBA game is being held in the city, now coming back to the “Sport Events Center of the South by 2020.”

 Tickets are priced at P1,500, P1,250, P750, P500 and P150 at can be bought at the City Treasurer’s Office and City Mayor’s office here. (WITH REPORTS BY PIA)
