ZAMBOANGA CITY: Mayor Beng Climaco led
other officials in the groundbreaking rites for the city’s new hospital to rise along Canelar Street, here.
With the mayor is Rep. Celso
Lobregat of the first district.
Climaco said this is another proof
of the city’s growing investments and constantly improving health care
facilities, as she welcomed the doctors’ board of the hospital’s organization.
The said hospital is owned by Metro Zamboanga
Hospital and Medical Center (MZHMC).
Climaco lauded MZHMC for putting up
the medical institution in the city of Zamboanga to serve their people, calling
it a “legacy for all our patients.”
For his part, Lobregat said that medical
facilities existing and rising in Zamboanga City is on a par with those in major
cities like Metro Manila.
The proposed MZHMC is owned by a
number of doctors and investors, who said they are most willing to come to the
city despite the rumored problems in peace and security.
