DIPOLOG CITY: The Sangguniang
Panlalawigan recently reported that they are religiously performing their roles
as expected by the people who voted them.
Vice Governor Senen O. Angeles said
board members have actively participated in the discussion of various
resolutions and ordinances submitted for deliberation and review by the
different city or municipal councils.
Angeles added that no board member
has missed without valid reason and late during sessions.
In her report, Assistant SP
Secretary Filmie V. Beluan disclosed that the provincial board last year has passed
a total of 615 resolutions, 11 appropriation ordinances and 2 provincial
ordinances.
The two ordinances crafted by SP pertain
to the setting of the prices for the agricultural products in the province and
services extended by the agriculture and veterinary offices, as well as the
amendment of the small-scale mining ordinance.
